Situations :: Obscene Phone Calls

	Do not give out your name or telephone number even when some asks for it, instead ask which number has the caller dialed. If the number is wrong, say so politely but firmly and HANG UP. If the number is correct but the called party's name is wrong, it is still wrong number and finish the call accordingly. It is best not to prolong the talk or to get into arguments. Since the other party knows your number he/she can trouble you again, at their will.
	If the calls persist, get your telephone under observation of MTNL/BSNL (or the local phone provider) or equip yourself with CLI (Caller Line Identification) Device (s135).
	Inform the police.
	You could also use Online Telephone recording devices (s135)to tape the conversation and use it as a proof later or the recording could even help in tracing the caller.
