Glass Break Acoustic detectors "listen" for the specific sound pattern generated
when glass breaks, while Vibration type sensors "feel" for the vibration
of breaking glass. The vibration type of glass break detector is fixed on to the glass
surface and is designed to respond to the specific higher frequency energies generated in
breaking glass and not to the low-frequency vibrations produced while hitting the wall.
Such sensors have lesser range of detection.
