Some manufacturers have combined vibration and sound
detectors into one unit that will not activate unless both are detected. These units may
be used where the normal conditions would cause a single technology detector to generate
false alarms. When using these units remember that any window coverings will also affect
their performance, so make sure that the final testing is performed with them closed. |
