Personal Protection sprays are very handy in situations
where the attacker is within 4-5 feet. Such sprays spray chemicals like pepper, tear gas
or similar irritants. These are sprayed towards the attackers nose/eyes with immediate
effect. Such sprays come in containers like those used for perfumes or some are even in
shape of a pistol.
Normally, such sprays produce lot of burning and impairs the vision or leads to constant
coughing for 10-15 minutes.
These must be used with caution and never to be used as a prank.Though in some cities the
Police itself is promoting the use of this for protection against eve-teasing but you are
well advised to check with your local police station for it's legal implications. |
