before it harms the individual wearing the bullet proof vest. Earlier such vests used to
be made of steel wires and used to be very bulky and inconvenient. With advances in
technology, the new bullet proof vests have become comparatively very light and are
flexible. They are available in various sizes depending upon the protection that is
desired. It should be noted that depending upon the kind of weapon and the bullet, the
type of vest varies. The bullet proof vest which is good for a pistol may not be good for
a semi automatic weapon.
