For energy saving and to enhance the life of the Aviation lights, it is important o switch OFF the aviation lights when not required and again switch ON, automatically, when it is dark. Our Twilight Switch performs this very function most effectively.
The equipment has two independent channels with separate monitoring for failure as well as independent bypass function.
Features
Continuous monitoring of light intensity to switch on one/two lights |
Lights are automatically switched OFF when the light intensity increases above a predefined level (this intensity can be varied at installation time) |
Two independent channels operation - for operating two bulbs independently |
In case of failure of any of channels, the NMS is given an appropriate input |
Option to bypass, one or both channels (under this condition no NMS signal is sent). Bypass conveniently done using switches located on the panel |
Detection of failure based on current consumption and not just on voltage detection, thereby ensuring that the cable, lamp and power supply are all functioning properly. |
Protected against reverse polarity |
Input mains protected by an appropriate on-board fuse |
